    Cancellations

    You may cancel your service plan by calling us or writing to us at Cwp, 85 Greengate, Manchester, England, M3 7NA. Cancelling a rolling service plan requires 30 days notice after the initial 14-day cooling off period (14 days from cover start date) or the annual anniversary of your service plan. In the first 14-days cooling off period, you can cancel any time and your cover plan will be cancelled immediately. There will be no cancellation charges, provided that a repair or service has not been completed in the plan year. The cancellation charge will be applied if a repair or service request is completed in cover year.

    Refunds

    If you wish to make a refund on any of our service plans – for instance, if the person named in the plan has passed away – call us on 0333 996 9888 and we will cancel the plan and refund any applicable money.

    We will require a copy of the Grant of Probate (in England and Wales) or the Grant of Confirmation (in Scotland) to process your request and initiate a refund. In the interests of processing your request as quickly as possible, please send this documentation to:

    You may receive a refund in the following circumstances:

    • If you cancel your plan within the cancellation period outlined in your terms and conditions and have not made a repair request, your contract will be cancelled immediately and you will receive a refund of any money paid to us.
    • If you cancel your plan at a time after the cancellation period but have not made a repair request, we will refund any money paid for the remaining period of your plan, calculated daily. If you pay for your service plan through monthly installments, your plan will be cancelled at the end of the monthly period during which you informed of your wish to cancel. You will continue to receive services from Warranty People until the date the plan is cancelled.

    We will not able to process any refund or any money paid, if you cancel your plan after making a request on it, including if this repair request is made during the cancellation period.

    You can also log-in to our online portal to make a repair request. For log-in you need your reference number, surname & access code. You can get all these details in your plan documents via email/post.
