All of our policies come with an Annual Boiler Service (except basic), Unlimited Call Outs and Claims, 24 Hours Emergency Helpline, Parts & Labour, & Nationwide Coverage (excluding northern Ireland). We always use new parts for repairs. You don’t need to pay any excess for boiler service. Gas safety check & carbon monoxide test are part of Annual boiler service and are carried out at the same time as the boiler service. What is the difference between Boiler Care and Heating Care?
Boiler Care Policy covers you for Boiler Breakdown and an Annual Boiler Service, Carbon Monoxide Test & Gas Safety Check.
Heating Care Policy includes everything the Boiler Bronze Policy offers PLUS Central Heating Cover.
What is the difference between Heating Care and Home Care?
Our Heating Care Policy includes Boiler Breakdown, Annual Boiler Service, Central Heating, Carbon Monoxide Test & Gas Safety Check.
Our Home Care Policy offers you everything included in our Heating Care Policy PLUS cover for Internal and External Plumbing & Drainage, Electrical Emergency, Pest Control and Home Security.
Do you cover all makes and models of boilers?
We cover all popular makes and models of domestic boiler as long as they are wall mounted and natural gas powered. We do not cover Electric boilers, Solid Fuels boiler, Bio Mass boilers, LPG boilers, Oil Boilers, Immersion Heaters, Back Boiler, Floor Standing Boilers, Hot Water Tanks, Warm Air Units, Water Heaters, Rayburn and Aga Boilers.
We can cover, fix, service & repair all major brands. Some of the popular brands we cover are Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Viessmann, Ideal, Baxi, Glow-worm, Potterton, Alpha, Intergas, Vokèra and many more. For gas boilers, we do not cover the following models:
- Ideal Mexico
- Potterton Powermax
- Baxi Bermuda
- Ideal Keston
- Thermal Store systems
- Boilers that contain storage vessels
- Warm air units
- Keston boilers manufactured before July 2019
- ATAG
- Dual-purpose boilers such as AGA & Rayburn

My boiler and central heating is very old, will you still cover it?
The age of the boiler will not prevent us from offering cover, but we may need to flex the minimum excess or policy price to reflect the likelihood of a breakdown occurring. There will be a minimum excess of £75 for boilers aged 11 or more. However, feel free to speak with our sales representative on 0333 996 9888 and we will try to answer all your questions.
Is there any cooling off period?
Every boiler cover purchased is subject to a 14-day cooling off period, which begins when you receive the details of your agreement. You may cancel your agreement without penalty and we’ll refund any premiums you’ve paid. Any claims made in the first 14 days are not covered by your agreement but can be handled as pay on use. Please contact us for details.
What will be the renewal price after the first year?
We can not discuss the renewal price at this stage. However, you will be notified about your renewal price in advance so that you can make an informed decision.
What is excess and how does it works?
The excess you pay is the amount per claim so no matter how many times an engineer visits for the same problem – you’ll only pay one excess! If your boiler is over 11 years old, a minimum excess of £75 will be applied.
You will not pay excess for a boiler service and Gas Safety Certificate, if this is included in your policy. Please note we carry out the Boiler Service, Gas safety check, carbon monoxide test and a gas safety check at the same time. They can't be done separately under your policy.
